though the living standards are improving in ladakh, there are still needy families or individuals. the areas in which these people mostly live have no easy access. but how to support local inhabitants living in remote settlements?

well, the «easiest» and most flexible way to help is by donating money. with it, school fees for children can be paid, solar lamps for families or elderly inhabitants as well as stationery for schools can be procured. these are just a few examples how the money is invested to benefit the needy population as adequate as possible.

besides these short-term activities we are interested in helping the local inhabitants also on a long-term basis and therefore are in discussion with other NGOs or groups to elaborate sustainable approaches.
